DESCRIPTION:Join us way down yonder for a Pawpaw party! We are excited to host this celebration of our only native tropical fruit tree! With many colorful nicknames such as the hillbilly mango\, the pawpaw’s cultural flavor is as intriguing as its taste. We will give a brief talk on the ecology and cultural history of the species before we meander on over to the pawpaw patch to pick fruits to sample. Warning: You MIGHT be encouraged to participate in a sing-along. \nCost: \nChildren 18 and under – Free \nAdults – $15 ($10 for Friends of Clifton.)  All proceeds from our programs go directly to funding our education programs\, restoration work\, and research projects. DESCRIPTION:We are so grateful for our volunteers’ help and support. We could not accomplish our mission without you! We would like to thank you by hosting you and your families for an evening at the Clifton Institute. This will be a very casual event. We will provide food and drinks from a local barbecue restaurant. All you need to bring is yourself! You’re welcome to arrive before 5:30 and hang out on the lawn or go for a walk if that makes coming after work easier. \nPlease RSVP so we know about how much food to order.  If you have dietary restrictions you would like us to take into account please email kpaulsen@cliftoninstitute.org at least a week before the event date. \nWe look forward to seeing you all!
